A documentary film by Sergio Visinoni and produced by Martina Fiorellino and Andrea Zanoli for Lab 80 film.



Eya is 14 years old and attends high school. She is a smart and tenacious girl.
Since the age of 4, following a road accident that left her quadriplegic, Eya has moved in a wheelchair, which she drives with great dexterity thanks to a joystick that she controls with her lips and chin. Her story and that of her parents is characterized by constant leaps beyond the horizon of possibilities.


Thanks to machinery and technological supports, Eya can in fact live with a freedom of movement and action that was once unthinkable. But technology is an empty tool if the motivation and emotional strength to face the difficulty with curiosity and determination is lacking.
